I have a sharepoint site which uses the check in/check out functionality as a requirement of the types of documents stored on it.
However, I now have a folder of files which does not need this functionality and, as these get updated through an app and power automate, the check in aspect is causing issues (i.e. the power automate wont work if the file is checked in)
Is there a way to remove the check in/check out feature for the files within this folder?
Hi @Matthew Russell - check-in/out is enabled at the Library level, there's no way to remove it the folder level. Best bet is to move those files into a new library with the settings you need for your flow to run. Alternatively, you can add actions to check in and check out files within your Power Automate flows.
