We currently use SharePoint 2013 calendars for booking a number of different sets of shared resources, bikes, IT equipment etc, but it has always been possible to double book items.
We are moving to SharePoint Online and I am rebuilding these resource booking systems. How can I use calendars or custom lists or PowerAutomate to prevent shared resources from being double booked? There are three equipment booking sets, 6 bikes, 30 microscopes, 5 chambers. that I need three different booking systems for. Each piece of equipment needs extra information collected via metadata columns.
