Hi,

 

how do we hide some options in the New Menu.. We want users to be able to add News Post and News Link but not to add pages, doc library, lists and apps?

The only option that might help here is to play with permissions levels in SharePoint, but not very sure you will be able to achieve what you have described

I tried and was not able to get it to work as expected.. I might paly some more with that
