How to edit details from search results for one site in SP Online

Hi Folks,

I want to edit the information, given when search results are shown.

When I search for something, every result has "person has published on..." and other attributes.

Instead of "person xy has published on..." I want, that "description" is shown. 
Can I manage that in the site collection (I'm lost there), is that even possible?

@daheinri I don't think you will be able to customize the SharePoint default search results page to add description.

However, you can use PnP Modern Search web parts for your SharePoint online collection using which you can customize & show the search results in the web part as per your requirements.
