How to bring a document from document library to the page so it is the first thing they see on page

Copper Contributor

I am new to SharePoint I have uploaded the documents on the document library. I have an interactive PDF and I want to feature it on the front page. The document should allow contents to be downloaded but no editing is allowed.

I have only been able to create a news feed but not a page with logos and information about the Org.

Thank you for your assistance

@Diva_8 You have below options for your requirements:

  1. Show PDF document on site home page using embed web part or file viewer web part / file and media viewer web part
  2. Show complete document library on site home page using Document library web part

Hi @Diva_8

You can use the out-of-box webpart named Files and Media to display the document. The document is rendered in an IFrame like the one shown below and at the bottom of the document when you hover, there are few menu items which will help the users to zoom in or out and open in a separate tab and from there they can download the entire document or even share with other users.

The document displayed by following the steps above is not editable and also the links inside the document is clickable.
