How do I Create a Dashboard on My Sharepoint Site

Let me start of by saying that I am a beginner.

 

I created a sharepoint site which I would somehow like to incorprate some kind of a dashboard.  This dashboard would be related to compensation.  I can pull the table data from our excel sheet and use that data to build visuals.  I just don't know how I could do that.  They way I would see it is to allow the user to select an employee and see how much they got paid, what incentive they earned, what percentile they are in..etc....MORE Than you wanted to know.  But in any case, if someone has an "easy" approach to do this and I know nothing is easy but any guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you kindly good people.
