how can I make the attachments field mandatory in SharePoint online list?

Dear Experts, 

I want to make the attachment field Mandatory/Required in my List. How can do that? I do not have the powerapps option. So I need to make that possible from SharePoint itself

Not possible unless you use classic SharePoint, or PowerApps. If it's a single attachment, you can use a SharePoint Document Library instead of a list, which each item is a document, which basically means it requires a document to start.

So if i'm using classic sharepoint then how do i make the attachment required based on a specific selection within a particular column?
