So thing I noticed and brought up with someone at Ignite, but wanted to just throw a post up about it, but if you use Hightlighted Content Webpart to display News, it doesn't render the banner properly. As you can see below, the hightlighted content version doesn't look good and puts the whole banner in the card:
However the same information on the SharePoint landing page displays news with a focal point on the banner. I believe I had seen something somewhere where we can pick the focus point in a future release (might be news webpart related)but not sure. Anyway, not sure if anything is going to address this or not but it can be kind of annoying when rolling up news content to users from other site collections. A site collection filter on this would be nice too instead of all sites :P.
