Grant access to Sharepoint group at item level of list library

can I put Recipients as SharePoint group name(please see attached image)

I have one sharepoint group - IT_Group, to which I want to add item level access.

do I need to put it as IT_Group@onmicrosoft.com, its not finding IT_group automatically

or u need to add indivisual id only and sharepoint group name is not possible

@rautchetanthat has to be a valid email address which could be an office 365 group associated to that sharepoint or even you could created a mail-enabled security group and added it there.
