We've been noticing a number of glitches with the "Modern" item editing experience in SharePoint Online over the last few weeks. It was easier to record a walk-through of what we're seeing than to type it all out, so here it is: https://youtu.be/w_JyRKnOSBo
Are others seeing these sorts of issues, and does anyone know if Microsoft is actively working on a solution? I understand that living in the cloud means giving up a bit of control over versioning of applications that users have access to, but I would expect an organization as large as Microsoft to do a better job of quality control before rolling out changes and updates. As it is, it feels like we're all paying them for the privilege of beta testing Office 365. The clients we work with and for often don't understand the tradeoffs of SaaS; they just know that they were able to use SharePoint 2010 without issues in the past, but the "New SharePoint" is glitchy as heck.
