Hello all, hoping someone can help.
When I create a new list from within Modern Sharepoint, I'm able to set the view to "Gallery" which formats the view to cards. This is ideal for the way I want to represent content and I've been prototyping in this view.
Now I'm ready for actual data, so I've used Microsoft Excel to export a sheet into sharepoint as a list. This is successful; however, the gallery view is missing. Only the "List" and "Compact" view items are present. When I go to format the view, card designer is not present. Only formatting for specific rows/conditional formatting options are present.
I feel like I'm missing someone simple. Has anyone had this problem? I'm not getting any results when I search online.

Yes, I think I worked around it by using Sharepoint to import the file instead of using excel to export to Sharepoint.
