Hello, Start by adding a custom metadata field on the sites where you will create news. When that is done, create a news page and add data into the metadata field. Wait 20-60 minutes (could take longer for the crawl index to apply). Navigate to your news web part and edit the settings. Find the filter section and you should be able to target the custom metadata field you have created. Set the value to desired category and you should only get results with the correct category.
