Files migration from OneDrive to SharePoint

Copper Contributor

I am planning to migrate all team documents from OneDrive for Business to SharePoint Online.
Some users in my company hold work-related files that they shared with others and that's the way entire teams are collaborating on them.

My question is:
Is there a way to move large amounts of files from OneDrive to SharePoint while maintaining the sharing links (or create a new one and notify the individuals with whom the files have been shared)?

I know such an option exists while moving a single file but there are hundreds of files to move.

You are right, this is possible to do for a single file, see this post: https://sharepointmaven.com/how-to-move-documents-between-sharepoint-sites-without-breaking-the-shar...

I would recommend looking into creating a Power Automate flow to achieve what you want. If the flow is very advanced, you might want to implement the logic in an Azure Function that can be triggered by the flow.
