File access for all on Sharepoint, but restrict access to Teams group

Hi

My organisation has several global teams, and we need to share files with all users.

However, the Teams channel / group requires that only some of the users have access to the chat & messages, but still have access to the files.

Is this feasible?

Yes, you can achieve this by using the sharing part of SharePoint Online
