Extend Guest Access Rights for SharePoint Site Owners

Hi,

Can a SharePoint site owner extend expiring user access to documents? I haven't found any way to do it. Do you know if this functionality exists in SharePoint or only SharePoint admin can do it. Thank you for your feedback.
