Expired date to news items?

Hi!

I am wondering if there is a way to set a expire date to news items? 

I had tried adding a costum cloumn to the SitePages library containing the expiration date and then use MS Flow to change the publishing state to 0 but I can't read the pages in the SitePages library from MS Flow.

Has anyone some idea how to do this? The goal is unpublish a news when the expire date is reached.

You can just put custom and site pages into the step manually to access the pages. This can work and I’ve done it however the problem is the page being changed isn’t enough to remove it from the main page unless they have fixed the index to update when promoted state changes to 0 because you used to have to modify the page to make it go away.

Give the custom thing a try and see how it goes. Report back :).
