One of the users is getting the error "We couldn't add this site to the sites you follow. Please try again later." when he tries to follow a SharePoint Online site.
Few of our users get this error, using all follow sites options - from within the site, from the SharePoint home page, etc.
One thing to note - We DO NOT have OneDrive deployed for our users. Other users can follow without having OneDrive.
First, I want to understand, if no OneDrive is enabled, how and where are the following sites maintained.
Second, what needs to be done with this user's user profile that will allow him to follow sites.
