Document library visualization permissions in page

Copper Contributor

Hello,

I am building an intranet site with Sharepoint Online, with different permissions for employees and consultants.

I have added a "document library" web part to a site page, and set it to point to an "Employee" folder. The folder access is reserved to employees only. When I log into the page with a consultant's account, what I see is (correctly)

Unfortunately, this is not very nice to see.

Is there a way to display this web part if and only if the logged account has view permissions on the underlying folder ?

Thanks

The only option I can see to do what you are asking is by means of audiences, but I think the document library webpart does not support audiences
