I have a process whereby the users want to be able link directly to an email in Outlook from the SharePoint list where they manage their workflow.
It works by using outlook web and copying the URL of the email into a hyperlink field in the SharePoint list.
Is anyone else doing something similar for any processes they have implemented or are there any constraints I'm not aware of from my simple tests that will bite them down the line that anyone has experienced?
Also I assume it cannot work within outlook client because there wouldn't be a link property in an email to be useful in a Sharepoint field to link from?
