direct domain SharePoint login URL - how to skip Home Realm Discovery, with ADFS?

Bronze Contributor

Hi,

can someone help me create a SharePoint login url that automatically enters my custom domain for automatic ADFS login?

I'm referring to skipping the Home Realm Discovery, mentioned here https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/enterprisemobility/2015/02/11/using-azure-ad-to-land-users-on-th...

Using this method (https://flamingkeys.com/office-365-custom-domain-login-url/)  I've managed to get my users automatically signed into the Office 365 Portal, but I'm having trouble creating a URL for SharePoint directly.

I'm trying to use this as workaround for the harmon.ie Outlook addin where I have to specify a SharePoint URL, but I'm constantly getting to the Home Realm Discovery authentication window, where I have to click my email address.

Hi,

You can use this:

https://login.microsoftonline.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&whr=tenant.com&wreply=https%3A%2F%2Ftenant...

Changing the two instances of 'tenant' to match your domain.  If internal, the user will log in without any prompts, if external they will get the AD FS prompt only.

You will need to modify your AD FS servers for the bypass in Chrome and Edge to work corrrectly though, as by default it will only work with IE.

You're the man. Too bad it doesn't work in harmon.ie.
But at least I get to use this as a browser homepage.

ADFS part is already done and working.

Thanks again!

Hi Ivan,

Did you consider using "Auto acceleration"  or did it not work for your scenario?
