Different view counts in News web part v. on Page itself

I'm seeing a discrepancy between Page views shown in a News webpart on a hub site and what is showing on the page itself and the News webpart on the spoke site where it resides.

These screenshots were taken at the same time:

View count on the page itself

View count on News pages itself (369 views)

View count on News webpart on site where page resides

 View count on News webpart on site where news page resides (369 views)

View count on News webpart on hub site

 View count on News webpart on Hub site (54 views)

This appears to be a bug, but is there an explanation for why these numbers would be different?

Hi @jbhoward ,

When the News Web Part's News source configuration is set other the This Site, it uses search to rollup content, and the search index is not updated in real-time.

Is the view count on the Hub Site web part updated?

@jbhoward Seems like it takes more time to update the page views count on hub site web part.
