Default document library form does not include Description

Referring to SharePoint 365 (SharePoint Online).

When selecting to edit all details of any document library item - in any site - Only Name and Title is available. Having the multi-line Description available for editing would be extremely useful. I am hoping to update the default form and not have a custom PowerApps form - not for this! Not for just including Description for all doc library items.

What are the steps?

You can simply create a new column with type "multiple lines of text" in your SharePoint document library. Make sure to provide unique name for your column and set "Add to all content types" to "Yes":
