I have a couple content types that are using a simple one line text field called "Year". Sometimes, when values are entered, SP is placing .00000000000 on the value entered (e.g., 2002 is showing as 2002.00000000000). I doubled checked and the site column is set up as text. Both sites where I am having this issue had a site column that was created accidentally at the site level (as opposed to that in the content type) that was also called Year. That field has been deleted. Any ideas on how to force the values to text?
