Customizing Choice Dropdown box

I have a list with many columns that are questions with yes/no choices. One of my users wants the question part of the description to be visible after the choice box pops up. Here's what it looks like before you choose:

When you go to make a choice, the choice box covers the description (Which is the question) as you can see here:

Is it possible to move the popup choice box to be semitransparent? Or perhaps just not cover the question?

@Scott180 Unfortunately, it is not possible to customize the choice column popup in SharePoint out of the box list form to make it semitransparent. It is possible to customize the list forms using Power Apps and SPFx but it is too much work for your simple requirement.

 

I will suggest you to change choice column settings to use radio buttons instead of the drop down as you are having only two options - Yes/No. This way you can achieve your requirements as well as one additional benefit - one less mouse click for user to choose the option:
