Custom menu width in Sharepoint Online

Hello,

Have anyone a good trick to get a custom width on the menu in SharePoint? I have tried with some CSS and linked the alternate css to the main page but it does not seem to take it in account at all.

Do you mean in modern SPO Sites? If so, you could do it with a SPFx Extension
