I have a sharepoint list that I have data in and recently created a couple new columns.
If you go to new entry they show up and able to add data, however anything that was previously created does not allow you to edit those new created columns and just remain blank.
I have not had this issue before. I am still learning but there has to be something I am missing. Any help would be appreciated.

have you more then one content type on your list. You need to add the new columns to all your content types on this list.
