Recently our IT department migrated the Sharepoint version we were using to 2019. Before that we used SP2016.
We use calendar libraries in many Sharepoint areas to display them together with our personal calendar in Outlook.
Before the migration, we used the option of creating such calendar items using an email and *.ics attachment. This e-mail and the attachment were generated by an external system that cannot send "normal" meeting requests.
After the migration, this function is no longer available and our IT department believes that it could not have worked before.
Do you know this function and can you confirm that this function can no longer be used in Sharepoint 2019?
