Create a text version of a Lookup Column in a SharePoint List

Hello,

 

I have a long SharePoint List with some Lookup columns. I would like to create a text version of a lookup column in this SharePoint List. In other words, I would like to duplicate the lookup column, but have the duplicated column showing all the data as text versions of the original lookup column.

 

I have no experience with PowerAutomate, but I would be keen to know if there is a way to automate this process so that whenever new rows are added into the SharePoint list or existing data is updated, the text version of the lookup column is also updated to reflect any changes to the original lookup column.

 

If this can be done (in PowerAutomate or through any other means), I would be grateful for instructions that a novice can follow.

ps: The reason why I would like to have a text version of a lookup column is to allow me to use functions in PowerApps that cannot be used/are problematic with Lookup columns.
