copy workflow status to newly added column- sharepoint online

Hi,

I have sharepoint 2010 site which I have migrated on sharepoint online.

approver workflow 2010 also migrated to sharepoint online.

I have created new column in my library.

I would like to copy the workflow status (OOTB Approval 2010 workflow) to a newly created column. The reason is because a timer job deletes workflow history after 60 days and we need to see the workflow status as a permanent record.

how I can do this in sharepoint online

All SharePoint 2010 workflow will stop working in SharePoint Online on the 1st November 2020. You are probably best off looking at Flows in Power Automate.
