Copied files

Hi

I was unable to move one folder into another folder and was told to copy the folder in the teams SharePoint site to the correct location. 

Now I have the main folders still in the wrong location and copied folders in the correct location.

If I delete the original folder will the copied folder delete also? 

The documents within the copied folders are being used by the team now and have been updated with more information so I need to keep those. 

Any help would be really appreciated.

If you used the SharePoint copy To feature and copied folders/files from 1 location to said new location, you can delete the files in the old location and not affect the new location of the copied files. Also, you can restore from the recycle bin if that makes you more comfortable in deleting the folders/files
