Content Update Delays on SharePoint Online home

Hi, 

We are looking for official delay\change frequency timelines for various webparts or lists on SharePoint Online so we can justify frequent delays that are happening in showing the updated content on our portal home page. 

Any Microsoft resources on events,jobs, delays or the behind the scene process in how content updates are manged and displayed in Webparts such as News,quick links, Calenders etc.
