All,
I have a group that is not allowed to write to a list. They can only read.
Now, I have created a new column. I would like that group to write data to that column only.
Is there a way we can allow that Group to write to this new column specifically?
any tips would really help us.
Thanks
C1

SolutionHi @cad-one
It's not possible to set column-level permissions on SharePoint lists.
You can use Power Apps to build a custom form on top of SharePoint lists and utilize Power Automate flow to update that specific column information when the user is saving on the Power App.

Thanks for the tip. Sounds like a nice workaround. I haven't tried power apps so far, I guess it's time.
