I just started at a new company, and while they have 2 sql servers in different locations, with a listener set up for them, in central admin it is pointed at just one sql server.

It's been a LONG time since I changed over to a listener from a straight connection to a sql server, and I'm having trouble finding a doc online that explains the process in simple terms.  I don't want to trust my fuzzy memory for some reason.

Basically everything is configured on the sql side, (according to the dbas), I just need to update central admin to point to the listener.  Since I'm new to the company, and this is a very high profile system, I really don't want to screw this up.

If anyone can point out a simple doc/site for this I'd very much appreciate it.

Thanks.

Ted
