Well since I can't filter a lookup based on a managed metadata field, let me try and sort on one.

Ok so remind me again when was MMD fields implemented (10-15 years AGO) and why is the tech not completed YET????????
So, you can't filter a lookup based on one and you cant sort it either. Why then are we using this and why am I paying for a subscription to a substandard framework??????????????????
I guess time to either jump ship or deep 6 managed metadata fields. They're wayyyyy more trouble than they're worth EVEN though there's a big selling point for them UNTIL you start using one.
The only good thing about them is you can add a new term on the fly. Miraculous!!!
