Calendar showing empty events for next 7 days

Is there a way to show no events for a calendar. I have a shared calendar for PTO and most of the time there are no entries for the next 7 days. I see this instead -

Hello @lyttlebill 

you can't set this up in the standard events webpart.

As other option you can use highlighted content webpart, but you have another visualization for that and have more filter options...
