Hi,
We have the SP via MS Office 365 app. Created a site for the company and want to use the calendar option to notify trainers for the training I place on the calendar. When I use the Alert me option, it lets me add the people I want the alert to go to. However; the email message that is sent out is a generic, and I want to customize it. Trying to figure out how to do that. Can someone please guide me? Right now the generic email comes thru as a "Alert 'EHS New Hire Orientation' has successfully been added on 'Training'.", so when they click on the hyperlink for "training", it just opens up the calendar. I would like to customized this message to add the date and time of the event being alerted for. Is there a way to do that? Or, even better, if I can change the hyperlink to open the actual event that I'm sending the alert for. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thank you in advance.
