Hi

I have a recent document webpart on my site, and it only shows title name of the document and not the actual document name. As it is not possible to edit the view of recent document webpart, can i then pupulate the Title column with the value in the "Document Name" column? I know you can do it in power automate but just wondering if there is any other way?

thanks

Hi @siri123135 ,

There are only 4 methods for update automatically SharePoint Online title column value.

  • Using Visual Studio Workflow
  • Using SharePoint 2013 Designer Workflow ( Support may be stopped in the future )
  • Using SharePoint 2010 Designer Workflow ( Support ends on 1 November 2020  )
  • Using flow with Power Automate

I think the healthiest thing is to develop with Power Automate.
