I have a requirement to store a few thousand documents in a sharepoint library. Each document needs to be tagged with associated customer id's, but each document will need to be associated with one or more customer id's as some documents relate to more than one person.
I want to be able to query the document list to pull back all docs associated with a specific customer so the column needs to be indexable.
Whats the best approach to be able to link one or more id's to a document?
I have tried a multi line text box, but i understand that has issues at scale.
I have also tried adding id's to a list and linking them to the doc library, but that wont scale well into 100k's customer.
Any suggestions?
