Alphabet doc versioning

Hi,

In my organization Engineering projects, documents versioning usually follows A, B,C,D... . After client approves the document the versioning becomes numeric 1,2,3...

Does SharePoint version control support these alphabet versions? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

SharePoint does not support document versioning with Alphabets.
