I created a folder in the Documents section (is not a library), which has several Word documents. I granted read access to all users. Folder's owner and her assistant have full control access. Users are not able to modify any of the documents uploaded in this folder if they open the documents via the web application, however, if they select the app they can modify it. Why? How can I extend this rights also to the app ?
