What is the sharepoint designer plan

   What is the sharepoint designer plan if no more further update? Does it means Microsoft totally abandon client side tool?

Hi Peter,
That's correct. Microsoft is not investing in SharePoint Designer anymore so you can expect at some point the tool will become totally unsupported.
