We are trying to integrate or Media Asset Management system with SharePoint to allow images from our system to be usable with the built-in web parts in the Modern UI. We have been told that this is currently not possible. The fallback alternative of using Asset Libraries does not work either as there is no search functionality available, and most organizations have thousands of assets.
We would like to be able to plugin to the image selection dialog in a way similar to the Stock images, but showing our own UI to be able to browse and search for assets.
