I am aware that KQL queries don't support suffix matching, but I was wondering if there is any way this functionality could be made available on a sharepoint list? I recently moved my companies job list over to sharepoint and it doubles as our database with two different views. The staff have been used to searching our previous Access database with *arch when trying to find the word "search" for instance. Its embarrassing when I have to tell them "sorry this new awesome sharepoint list thing can't do the same searches as our old system".
Anyway, just a thought to please add this to the road map of development.
I apologize if this is posted in the wrong place. Can someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
