SharePoint Online - Rest API - Create webpart site

I try to create a webpart page using Rest API.

Sofar I can create a new site based on a template. Now the difficult part is coming ;)

On the site I have a few webparts. I need to change some webpart properties.

Is this possible using rest or some kind of client site scripting?

Googled a lot but not a good direction yet.

Can someone point me to the right direction?

Not sure about REST API, but I think is do-able with JSOM. Check if these links can help you:
