Sharepoint Document Libraries

Copper Contributor

I have some old requests submitted in my SharePoint site that have documents attached with PII data that has been flagged and I need to encrypt.  Does SharePoint store the documents attached in a form in a library where I can go and encrypt them?

I am a new owner of the site and am just learning.

Also, one of the requests was created by an employee who no longer is with the company and I cannot edit the form.  Is there a way as an administrator that I can change the creator info on the form so that it can be edited?

Hi @elliott7795 are you talking about SharePoint list item attachment? If yes, you can't access to the entire list of attachments directly (you can use rest api i.e.).

About edit permissions on this item, are you a sitecollection administrator, or simply the site owner?
