SharePoint Data Migration in particular Workflow Stages

Hi All,

I want to migrate data from Sharepoint 2013 onpremises to Sharepoint online O365. The onpremises version has custom worklfows with lot of files in libraries. The workflows are a multistage approval workflows. I want to migrate them in same stage and continue to run workflow on them depending on which stage they are in, how can I automate the process without manually having to run the workflow on the files individually? If I use start workflow on item create, it will start the workflow from the top!

I don't think that migration scenario is supported by any migration tool in the market...the most you can get is just to migrate your workflows to SPO and this will really depend on how the workflows were created in SP 2013 and also on the migration tool used
