PnP v4 custom columns

Copper Contributor

Hello community,

I hope you are doing great.

I have sites with the following custom columns I created to add tags:

I am using PnP v4 and I need to be able to add those tags or categories to the filter so I can show them in the results I already added the information in the RefinableString, but no idea how to add the columns in the filter or the ability to search using tags, any ideas?

Hi, few things to get there it all configured as below

You've setup your managed property in the Seach Schema which is good.

Next in the Results webpart open Customize sidebar in Layout Slots

The add in the RefinableString00 and save

The also add RefinableString00 into selected Properties (select drop down and paste into dropdown and hit Enter - it will be added to list and auto selected when you view all selected properties)

The RefinableString00 will now be available in the Filter webpart for selection and configuration
