List Form - Conditional formatting when not in the view

Copper Contributor
Hi,

I have a List in SharePoint with a large number of choice fields that all have formatted styles. There are also two different views, one showing limited fields and one showing them all.

When opening the form to create or view an item in the list the formatting for the “pills” is shown, but only if that field is available in the list view itself. If the column is hidden from the underlying view then no styling is displayed.

Is there a way to always show the styling, irrespective of the view?

Thanks

Solution
No, for column or view formatting to work the column must be in the view.
