Forcing http links from third party application into news articles on intranet site

Hi Forum,

We have an application where user creates http:// links. We want these http:// links to be forces as https://  news items on SharePoint 2016 intranet site. 

Could you please share some info how we can force http:// links to https://  news article on SharePoint 2016 intranet site .
