In our Sharepoint tenant, when I select Sharing for a folder in a document library, there are a list of other settings available for the "Anyone with a Link" option. These other settings are:
- Allow editing
- Expiry Date
- Password
I want to be able to apply all these settings to external links programmatically (CSOM? REST? Powershell? PnP? Graph?). I have not been able to find any information on the last option, setting a password. It seems the only available options for external/anonymous links are View/Edit and setting an Expiry date.
Does anyone know if its possible to set the password?
If its not currently possible, will it be possible in the future?
Do you know when this functionality will be available?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
